SLB Women - Sheffield Complete first SLB Quadruple

Sheffield Hatters Complete Historic Quadruple With Play-Off Final Victory

B. Braun Sheffield Hatters secured Women's Super League Basketball history on Sunday, claiming their fourth trophy of the season with a 73–66 victory over Caledonia Gladiators at the O2 Arena.

The Yorkshire club became the first women's team in SLB history to complete a domestic Quadruple, adding the Play-Off title to a haul that already included the league championship and the Betty Codona Trophy - capping a season of total dominance under Coach of the Year Vanessa Ellis.

Player of the Year Megan Mullings was the standout on the day, earning Molten MVP honours after a display that helped Sheffield maintain control at critical moments.

The Hatters led by 14 at half-time (42–28) and pushed the margin beyond 20 in the third quarter. Caledonia hit back hard - Tess Amundsen sparking a 20–7 run to reduce the deficit to four - but Sheffield held their nerve to close out victory, with Jess Eadsforth-Yates's timely three-pointer proving decisive.

The final was also a farewell for Caledonia's Robyn Lewis, who retired following the defeat, having fallen short of becoming the first Scottish women's side to win a top-flight play-off title.
